Read Today newspaper, got to know that during F1 race week, it will be very hard to travel around town area especially near those race track areas due to road blocks..besides that, it was reported that there will be extended services for trains and buses which i think it is quite a good move and will really help people to get home cheaply even after the race..cabs will charge a surcharge of $5 for hiring at those areas starting from 10.30pm..imagine including midnight charges, i think it will be super expensive if one will to take cab home crossed the midnight unless you live nearby area..anyway, i bet that one will certainly have a hard time flagging a cab during time period like 9+ 10pm at those areas..as cab drivers are clever too..they will just hide somewhere till the clock strikes the surcharge period then, you will see a lot of them appearing suddenly..this happened this morning when i was going out around 7.45am..surcharge starts at 7.30am..as i was about to cross the road, a cab from a distance, used its high beam light to shine on me, thinking that i might want to take it even though i didn't show any movement of wanting to flag it at all..then it shine on me again..i was like "i don't want to take cab"..after that, i saw at least 3 -4 empty cabs across the road coming out from small road to the main road..it's quite obvious that they are simply waiting for surcharge period..i bet one will sure could't get a cab before that time..
anyway, although there is public transport during the race dates, i think it will still be pretty crowded to take trains and buses before and after the races..sure there will be tons of people rushing for them..if there's no program, i suggest everyone to stay away from that area and to be home early during that weekend..today is the last day of lunar 7th month already..tomorrow will be a brand new month..can go out till late with no worries..hahaha!
