It's good that northpoint is being upgraded into a shopping mall with more interesting stores...now, even famous amos will be in too..great!! i can get things just a distance away from my home instead of travelling all the way down to town or so..last time before it was being upgraded with an extension, there wasn't really nothing much to shop and seldom will we shop at northpoint, the most only have meals there or only when there's things that we need to buy then we will go to the mall.now, there's also more f&b outlets which provide us with more as well as new choices just within distance..there's seoul garden, manhattan fish market, pasta mania, xin wang cafe, breeks, thai express and many more. party world will be coming up soon too. so cool..all under one roof..in the past, i was still complaining that yishun doesn't have what was already existing in nearby areas like bishan or woodlands..earlier days, there wasn't breadtalk so i was saying to my friends that i doubt yishun will have one as there's already one at bishan and woodlands. eventually, it did open one branch here... there's more retail shops too like mini toons, cotton on, etc.. hence, we no longer have to travel all the way down to town to get something which we always deemed that only town or far distance away shopping malls will have them..applause to northpoint management team..they finally "open up" their mindset..hahaha!
