Another weekend...went for facial this noon, had sakae sushi as lunch with my mum at northpoint..got home, did some household chores such as dusting, cleaning ceiling lights' covers, mopping floor, etc..
while having lunch, we saw something which i found it too much and cruel.. there's a tank in the restaurant where they placed 2 lobsters inside it..what was cruel and i felt sorry was that the lobsters were tied up at their clams..if you look at them, they can't even swim to the top of the tank and can only swim around the bottom of the tank with their fillers (legs)..the way they swim seems to be very difficult for them and i felt pity that they can't even open up their clams which i supposed that's the reason why they can't swim to the top of tank...just imagine that one of our legs are being tied up, how can we walk properly right? this applies the same to them, the clams are also part of their legs..same goes to crabs in those seafood restaurants. but i think it isn't as bad for crabs as their clams are like their hands so they still can crawl even their clams are tied up...but it's totally different for lobsters. the way i saw them swimming inside the tank, it really makes me pity them especially when i saw one of it seems to be like struggling hard or trying to do something so that it can use its clams..this also reminded me of a tv programme that i watched recently, mentioning about some animals being captured for delicacies..so cruel and poor thing...think it's best if all humans can stop capturing them and also stop in demanding such food..there's so many other food that we can eat right..
